ILP "Participation" – LinkedIn Learning
I took a course using LinkedIn Learning called "Teaching Techniques: Developing Curriculum" for my ILP Participation project. This course focused on teaching you how to create an effective curriculum regardless of the subject you teach. It talks about concepts like backward design, scope and sequence, learning objectives, and more. Ultimately the goal of the course was to help prepare you to create a curriculum that will be the most beneficial to your students and the easiest for you to create. This is super important to me because I am an English Education major and plan to teach high school English once I graduate. As a future teacher, I want to make sure that I am prepared to teach my students in a way that makes sense and promotes in-depth learning. Knowing how to create a curriculum, like this course taught me, is so important to being a successful teacher and making sure my students get the most out of the class.
This is my VoiceThread on the course! I hope you enjoy it!
